区别辨析work、task与job

这些名词均有“工作”之意。

work : 最普通用词,含义广,指人们日常生活和工作中所从事的有目的的体力或脑力劳动。

  • Carrying heavy loads around all day is hard work.
    整天来回运送重物是个苦活儿。
  • Aileen does most of the work around the house.
    艾琳做大部分的家务活儿。
  • What sort of work are you experienced in?
    你对哪一种工作有经验?
  • She tends to wear quite dressy clothes for work.

task : 通常指分派给的任务,也指自愿的工作,但往往是艰巨或令人厌烦的工作。

  • We usually ask interviewees to perform a few simple tasks on the computer just to test their aptitude.
    我们通常让接受面试者在电脑上进行一些简单操作,只想测测他们的能力。
  • The government now faces the daunting task of restructuring the entire health service.

job : 多用于口语,侧重指受雇用的,以谋生为目的工作,不论有无技术,也不管是零工或散工。
